To print one, we need names, sometimes dates, sometimes a photo of your kid, your dog or your grandpa holding a fish. This Privacy Policy explains in plain language what information Teetopia collects, why we need it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and what choices you have. It applies to teetopia.shop and to emails you exchange with us. If anything is unclear, write to support@teetopia.shop; we reply within 24 hours on business days.
\n
\n
Privacy at a glance
\n
\n
Who we are: Teetopia, 2964 E Parkriver Dr, Boise, ID 83706, US, operating teetopia.shop.
\n
What we collect: contact and shipping details, your order, the text and photo notes you add for printing, and basic technical data from your visit.
\n
Why: to print and deliver your order, answer your questions, handle returns and refunds, keep the site secure and meet legal duties.
\n
Customer photos: used only to print your order and deleted 30 days after delivery.
\n
Selling data: we do not sell your personal information.
\n
Your choices: ask to see, correct or delete your data by email at any time.
\n
\n
\n
1. Information you give us
\n
When you place an order
\n
To fulfil an order we collect your name, email address, billing address, shipping address and, if you enter one, a phone number for the carrier. We also store what you ordered: the products, sizes, colours, styles, prices and order totals.
\n
Personalization details in the order notes
\n
Teetopia prints from the order notes box at checkout. Anything you type there, such as names, nicknames, team names, numbers, dates or a photo link, becomes part of your order record. Please only include details you are comfortable having printed on a shirt and stored with your order. Avoid putting sensitive information in the notes, such as health details, government ID numbers or passwords; we do not need them to print a shirt.
\n
Photos you send
\n
Some designs use a photo. You can paste a link to the photo in the order notes or email it to us with your order number. We use the photo only to print your order. Customer photos are deleted 30 days after your order is delivered. If you need us to delete a photo sooner, ask us and we will.
\n
When you contact us
\n
If you email us or use our Submit Ticket page, we keep your message, your email address and any attachments so we can answer and keep a record of what we agreed, for example a size change or a refund.
\n
If you create an account
\n
If you create an account on teetopia.shop, we store your login email, a securely hashed password (we cannot see it), your saved addresses and your order history so you can check orders more easily.
\n
2. Information collected automatically
\n
Like most websites, teetopia.shop receives basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you and the date and time of the visit. Our hosting, security and caching services use this to deliver pages quickly, prevent abuse and fix errors.
\n
Cookies
\n
We use cookies and similar storage that are needed for the store to work: keeping items in your cart, remembering that you are logged in, protecting forms against misuse and keeping checkout secure. These cookies are essential; without them the cart and checkout cannot function. If we ever add optional analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this page first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.
\n
\n
Types of cookies and why they are used
\n
\n
\n
Type
\n
Example purpose
\n
Can you turn it off?
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
Cart and session
\n
Remembering the shirts in your cart while you browse
\n
Only by clearing cookies; the cart will empty
\n
\n
\n
Account login
\n
Keeping you signed in to see your orders
\n
Yes, by logging out or clearing cookies
\n
\n
\n
Security
\n
Protecting checkout and forms from automated abuse
\n
No, they are required for the site to work safely
\n
\n
\n
\n
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, you may not be able to place an order.
\n
3. How we use your information
\n
\n
To make and deliver your order: printing names, numbers, dates and photos from your order notes, packing, shipping and sending you order and shipping emails.
\n
To help you: answering questions, making changes within 24 hours of ordering, handling returns within 60 days of delivery and issuing refunds within 7 days of receiving a return.
\n
To take payment and prevent fraud: payment is handled by the payment provider shown at checkout; we receive confirmation that payment succeeded, not your full card number.
\n
To keep the site working and secure: monitoring errors, blocking abuse and keeping backups.
\n
To meet legal duties: keeping order and accounting records as the law requires and responding to lawful requests.
\n
\n
We do not send marketing emails unless you have asked to receive them. Order emails (confirmation, shipping, refund) are part of the service and are sent to every customer.
\n
4. Who we share information with
\n
We share only what each partner needs to do its job, and nothing more:
\n
\n
Carriers and postal services receive your name, shipping address and, where provided, phone number so they can deliver your parcel.
\n
Payment providers process your payment directly. They have their own privacy policies, which apply to the payment details you give them.
\n
Hosting, security, caching and email services store and transmit data on our behalf so the website and our emails work.
\n
Production partners who help us print and pack orders receive the order details and personalization text needed to make your items.
\n
Authorities where we are legally required to disclose information, or to protect our rights, customers or the public from fraud.
\n
\n
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other businesses for their own marketing.
\n
5. How long we keep information
\n
\n
Retention periods by type of information
\n
\n
\n
Information
\n
How long we keep it
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
Customer photos for printing
\n
Deleted 30 days after the order is delivered, or sooner on request
\n
\n
\n
Order records (items, totals, addresses, order notes)
\n
As long as needed for returns, refunds and the accounting and tax records the law requires
\n
\n
\n
Support emails and tickets
\n
As long as needed to resolve your request and keep a record of what was agreed
\n
\n
\n
Account details
\n
Until you ask us to close the account
\n
\n
\n
Technical logs
\n
For a limited period for security and troubleshooting
\n
\n
\n
\n
6. Your choices and rights
\n
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
\n
\n
tell you what personal information we hold about you and send you a copy;
\n
correct information that is wrong, such as a misspelled name or an old address;
\n
delete your information, unless we need to keep part of it for legal or accounting reasons (we will explain what and why);
\n
delete a photo you sent before the usual 30 days;
\n
stop any optional emails;
\n
close your account.
\n
\n
Depending on where you live, for example in certain US states, Canada, Australia or New Zealand, local privacy laws may give you additional rights, such as the right to know how your data is used or to complain to a privacy regulator. We honour these rights. To make a request, email support@teetopia.shop from the email address on your order or account. We may ask a simple question to confirm it is really you before sharing or deleting anything. We will not treat you differently for using your privacy rights.
\n
7. Security
\n
teetopia.shop is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to order data is limited to people and services who need it to fulfil and support orders. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and we act quickly if something goes wrong. If we learn of a breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and any authority as the law requires.
\n
8. Children
\n
Teetopia sells youth sizes, and parents often put their children’s names on family shirts. Orders, however, are placed by adults. teetopia.shop is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
\n
9. Where information is processed
\n
Teetopia is based in the United States, and our website and services are operated from the United States. If you order from Canada, Australia or New Zealand, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States so we can print and ship your order. We use service providers that protect data with reasonable safeguards.
\n
10. Links to other sites
\n
If you paste a link to a photo from a cloud storage service, or if a carrier’s tracking page opens from our emails, those services are run by other companies under their own privacy policies. We only use photo links to download the image for printing your order.
\n
11. Ordering for other people
\n
Family and team orders often include other people’s names: cousins, grandkids, teammates, coworkers. When you put someone else’s name or photo in your order notes, please make sure they (or their parent or guardian, for children) are happy for it to be printed on a shirt. We use those names and photos only to print and deliver your order, we keep photos for no more than 30 days after delivery, and we never use a customer’s names or photos in our own advertising without written permission. If someone named on an order asks us to delete their details, we will do so as far as the law and our record-keeping duties allow, and we will tell the buyer.
\n
12. Changes to this policy
\n
When we change this Privacy Policy, we update the date at the top of the page. If a change materially affects how we use information you already gave us, we will tell you by email or with a notice on the site before it takes effect.
\n
13. Contact us about privacy
\n
Email support@teetopia.shop with “Privacy” in the subject line. We reply within 24 hours on business days.
